The Great Vintage Flying Weekend has been running since 1994 and was bought by Kemble Air Services in 2008. It is Europe’s largest vintage aircraft fly-in seeing some 300 aircraft arriving at Kemble over the weekend. The GVTWE is now the flagship vintage and classic aviation in Europe and it is now settling into a new life at its permanent home of Kemble Airport. With the success of the other Air events at Kemble the number of visitors is expected to rise to in excess of 5000.
